Basswood is good wood. A very misunderstood wood. But make no mistake… it is a TONE wood. We love its open, clear character. Very dynamic, with a round, focused low end. Perfect for allowing your head, hands and heart to speak through the guitar. A bit of a chameleon if you like… this one will do many different things, if you ask nicely. We paired the basswood body with a maple neck and ebony fingerboard for even more clarity and dynamics, and our super versatile “virtuoso” humbuckers will respond to all requests.
