When legendary Glay guitarist Hisashi began working with Zemaitis luthiers to create a signature model based on Hisashi's Tony Zemaitis built guitar, we at Zemaitis knew this one would be special. So we went to every possible effort to bring you a guitar just as special as Hisashi and his original Tony built guitar. We started with the wood. Tony used genuine Honduran Mahogany, its properties are well known in the guitar industry as some of the best wood that can be used for tone. Sadly, Honduran Mahogany is an endangered species from overuse. So that brings us to Fiji. Where the same species of Mahogany is currently ethically grown and sold as Fijian Mahogany. This is our source material for this guitar. We hand selected and tone tested each piece of wood to create a single piece body and neck for every guitar made in Hisashi's signature line.

1 coil tap Mini switch and 1 dummy mini switch to increase the number of tones available to you. A unique top and tail piece special made for Hisashi's signature model. 

Zemaitis "Shield" badge and Deluxe Gotoh SG381-01MG tuners installed at an angle, per Hisashi's design. A hand scalloped bone nut on a 1 piece hand selected genuine Fijian mahogany neck and hand selected bound ebony fretboard ties it all together.
